we are
The Academic Unit of Ophthalmology of the University of Birmingham
is part of the School of Immunity and Infection (Head: Prof. Eric
Jenkinson), College of Medical and Dental Sciences (Head: Prof.
Lawrence Young).
Our group includes:
Myself, Si Rauz (Clinical Senior Lecturer), Graham Wallace and John
Curnow (both Non-clinical Senior Lecturers), Alastair Denniston
(NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer), Paul Tomlins (Clinical

Where
we are




We are based on the 1st
Floor of the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC) on the site
of City Hospital, Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust,
and on the 3rd Floor of the Institute of Biomedical Research (IBR),
University of Birmingham, Edgbaston.
The top left picture is BMEC and the next two pictures are part of
our Unit there. The far right picture is the
IBR.
