Bees to make a signing?

As Ilias Chatzitheodoridis and Justin Shaibu go out on loan to Cheltenham Town and Walsall respectively, it is rumoured Limerick's Chiedozie Ogbene looks set to sign before the end of the transfer window on Wednesday. UPDATE: Chiedozie Ogbene signs for the Bees.

Bees lose at home to Norwich City

We lose 1-0 to an early well struck goal by the visitors. We had quite a few chances in the second half but didn’t really look like turning it around. It was good to see Alan Judge come on as sub in the second half. There was no Lasse Vibe in the squad with rumours of him imminently heading off to China.

A hard earned 1-0 win away to Reading

Now two wins in a row. It was a match with plenty of shots, hitting the woodwork and saves from both keepers. Lasse Vibe scored our winner in the second half.

Bees get back to winning ways

A 2-0 home win against Bolton Wanderers brings some New Year’s cheer after defeats to Wolves and Notts County in the FA Cup. Jozefzoon puts us ahead in the 40th minute and substitute Maupay wraps it up with a goal in the 91st minute.

Bees crash out of FA Cup

We go out in the Third Round 1-0 at home to League Two side Notts County. We had quite a few chances and hit the woodwork twice, but they got the winner in the 65th minute. It was the first game for new signing Emiliano Marcondes and a welcome return for Alan Judge who came on as a 70th minute substitute after being out of the game for 21 months with a broken leg. I suppose every cloud has a silver lining as we can now concentrate on the league - lol!

2018 starts with a big defeat away to Wolves

In the first half they hit the post early on but we played reasonably well, passing the ball out from the back and across the midfield but no real penetration up front. They always looked threatening in attack, particularly down their right flank, and Bentley made one really great save. We manage to go in 0-0 at the break. They started the second half very well and we were pretty bad. It was not surprising they got their first from an excellent free kick in the 57th minute. Two minutes later from another good move down the right (we did not learn from the first half) they scored their second with a good sho
