A goalless away draw to Aston Villa sees us stay second from bottom
Two fantastic saves from the Villa keeper prevented Ollie Watkins giving us our first win of the season. We played quite well but Ryan Woods who bossed the midfield for the first third of the game appeared to have given up for the last third. Maupay tried hard as the lone striker but he is not really a centre forward. He reminded me a bit of Marco Djuricin but hopefully this will change or we are in big trouble. Watkins seems a great talent (so I assume we will sell him next season for ?£6m). I always hate watching the last 10 minutes of any Brentford match if they are drawing or only in the lead by one goal, because every time the opposition attack I am positive Brentford will concede a goal. Today Villa disappointed and if they carry on like this they will struggle to even get into the play-offs.
