We finish a creditable 9th in the Championship as we draw 1-1 at home to Hull City in the last game
A sunny Griffin Park saw a good final game of the season on Sunday 6th May. We take the lead through Canos in the first half but they equalise in time added on. After the break we should have won the game but could easily have lost it if it wasn’t for Luke Daniels saving a penalty. In a changed team Luke was given his chance and repaid the faith the manager has in him with the penalty save. Talking of the manager, there are rumours he may be on his way to the Baggies, but I hope that is just speculation. We finished the season 9th with 69 points, only 6 points from the last play-off place.
P.S. Ken, honours even. Ken was the American driver of the tour bus in Honolulu last Thursday when we went to the waterfall at the Moana Valley. He told me he supported Hull City!
