Is Dean Smith off to the Baggies?

Despite signing a new contract in February, there are strong rumours that the Baggies want Dean as their next manager. Dean was born in West Bromwich and previously played and managed Walsall, so might be keen to go back to the Black Country. As the club has a policy of selling their best players if a good enough offers comes in for them, then I don’t see why it should be any different for a manager.
