Another home draw, but they beat us 2-0 on red cards
Another game we should have won especially as Birmingham City went down to 10-men with a quarter of the match remaining. They take the lead in the 26th minute but Josh McEachran’s first goal for us levels it before the break. Then Kieftenbeld gets a red card for an off the ball incident with Neal Maupay and it incensed their manager, Gary Moink, so such that the ref also gave him a red card. Even with the one man advantage we couldn’t get the winner and there was another incident at the end of the game with Maupay and ex-Bees skipper Harlee Dean both getting booked. That’s 4 points dropped at home in the last two games. Even though it is only early October I think we will end up mid-table at the end of the season.
