Deano’s Villains go back to Brum pointless

This was the first time ex-Bees Manager Dean Smith had faced his former side. Overall, we thoroughly deserved our victory with 62% possession, 23 shots with 6 on target. Yet we didn’t get the winner and only goal of the game until the 91st minute with a great goal from Neal Maupay, his 21st of the season. I can go into work tomorrow with my head held high. We have now reached 40 points and are 15th in the Championship. Next game is on Sunday away to Swansea in the 5th Round of the FA Cup.

Premier Leagues fixtures announced

First 5 games: Arsenal (H), Crystal Palace (A), Aston Villa (A), Brighton (H), Wolves (A). So that’s 15 points in the bag and only another 25 to get over the following 33 games to ensure survival.
