Now we can concentrate on the league
They say football is a game of two halves and if the match had stoped at half time I would have been very happy. After a pretty good first half where we played some very nice football and took the lead through Ollie Watkins, but the second half was a bit of a disaster. They equalised with a free kick that bounced off the post and hit the diving Luke Daniels and the ball ended up in the net. Then it all went pear shaped. They scored a fantastic second goal where one of their players ran over half the length of the pitch leaving Bees players in his wake as there was no way anybody could catch him. Then Konsa got sent off and they scored a couple more. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong with Maupay missing a sitter right at the end that had my grandmother still been alive she would have scored it.
