What do you expect if you don’t play your best forward?
Not the start of the season I was hoping for. Neal Maupay was not picked, presumably because he is about to be transferred, and we lose at home to Birmingham City. They score the only goal in the first half and we hit the woodwork three times. We were not great in the second half and ended up pointless. As I predicted if we have nobody who can score then we could be heading for a relegation dogfight even after only one match.
