A 95th minute winner almost ensures another season in the Premier League

Updated: Apr 21

The Bees sting the Hornets. I’m not sure we deserved to win as a lot of the game we couldn’t string more than three passes together. Yet in the 15th minute Pinnock with the long-throw, Ajer with the flick on and Norgaard is all alone six yards out to stroke home and we go in 1-0 up at half-time. After the break Watford were the better team and equalised in the 55th minute that was originally ruled offside but overturned by VAR. Watford were fighting for their Premier League lives. They hit the bar from a free kick, then right at the end they hit the post and it rebounds back and they miss an open goal. We then get a free kick that is taken by Eriksen and headed home by skipper Jansson in the 95th minute giving us a 2-1 win, three points and hopefully staying in the Premier League for another season (although it is still a mathematical possibility we could be relegated)..
