A win and up to 4th!

We had a deserved 3-1 victory at home to Reading and the game was won after the first half hour when we we three up. A Jensen goal in the 11th minute followed by a brace by Mbeumo in the 23 and 29th minutes saw us wrap the game up. In the second half we could have scored early on but a free header gave them a lifeline at 3-1 but neither team could add to that despite us hitting the bar. A good result considering both centre halves were not first team regulars. Big game Tuesday when we entertain Premier League side Newcastle United in the Quarter Final of the Carabao Cup.

First 5 games: Arsenal (H), Crystal Palace (A), Aston Villa (A), Brighton (H), Wolves (A). So that’s 15 points in the bag and only another 25 to get over the following 33 games to ensure survival.
