An unusual signing for us, but I know why

We sign Ben Mee, captain of relegated Burnley. He was injured towards the end of last season and then let go by the club. Not a ball-playing Centre Back but a solid defender. We don’t normally sign 32-year-old players but with Pinnock and Ayer out injured for the start of the season and Jansson nearly past his sell by date then we desperately needed another central defender.
