Bees sting the Wolves!

A great 2-0 away victory away to Wolves was only marred by Baptiste being sent off in the 64th minute for a second and completely unnecessary yellow card offence. So we played the last 30 mins with 10-men and still kept a clean sheet. I watched the game on BT Ultimate as I still feel it is not appropriate to go to games. Wolves started the strongest then after about 20 mins we began to get into the game. From a corner Toney was wrestled to the ground and he scored one of his trademark penalties. Then we threatened to score more and had two goals ruled out for offside and handball. Then a great breakaway move saw Toney beat his man on the left and provided an excellent cross for Mbeumo to get our second in the 34th minute. Wolves did hit the bar in the first half. Immediately after the restart we should have gone 3-0 up but for much of the second half we defended really well but did have a few opportunities to add to our score with Mbeumo hitting the bar. Traore was a nightmare for whichever of our left backs he was facing but fortunately no other Wolves forwards were able to get onto his crosses. A well deserved 3 points that makes up for the chances missed and defeat against Brighton the week before.
