I really didn’t think promotion was on the cards

In a vital match for both teams to narrow the gap between the play-off contenders and the top two, sees us go down by the only goal at home to Nottingham Forest. We didn’t play that well and they scored through a deflection in the first half. A win tonight would have put us within touching distance of second place Baggies (who lost tonight). I hope we can bounce back and stay in the play-off places.

Premier Leagues fixtures announced

First 5 games: Arsenal (H), Crystal Palace (A), Aston Villa (A), Brighton (H), Wolves (A). So that’s 15 points in the bag and only another 25 to get over the following 33 games to ensure survival.
