If you don’t convert your chances then you don’t get any points

Updated: Jan 20, 2022

Three defeats in a row with 2 goals scored and 10 conceded. We had quite a few chances in the first half and could have gone in at the break 2 or 3-nil up rather than goalless. There were missed opportunities and great saves from the United keeper from Jensen twice, Bech Sorensen, Norgaard and Toney. After they scored their first in the 55th minute it was game over and they added a second and third in the 62nd and 77th minutes. All of their goals were errors in defence or losing the ball in midfield. Toney scrambled in our consolation goal in the 85th minute and we end up losing 3-1. We had changed our keeper for this game bringing in Lossl and he didn’t inspire me with confidence. Despite him being more experienced than Fernandez he didn’t seem that confident going for balls and not that good on the ball. Personally, I would have played him against Liverpool and brought back Fernandez for the United game.
