Now we can concentrate on getting relegated
A 4-1 defeat away to Everton in the 4th Round of the FA Cup was not what we wanted after the winter break in an attempt to kick start our season after our recent dismal league performances. Everton needed to impress their new manager and took the lead in the 31st minute. They doubled their lead in the 48th minute but we got one back in the 54th minute with a trademark Toney penalty after he was brought down. A defensive error restored their lead in the 62nd minute and in stoppage time they added a fourth. We only had 4 shots with 2 on target. The 'good' news was the return of Raya and Dasilva. Although I was a bit sceptical about signing a player in the January transfer window who 'died' 7 months ago (and letting so many players go out on loan), I hope Eriksen will settle in well and we can avoid the slide down the table with eventual relegation.
