One point is better than none

We draw 1-1 with Millwall at The Den. They take the lead after only 4 mins but our equaliser comes from Ivan Toney’s first goal for us from the penalty spot. Overall, a draw was a fair result in a game of relatively few chances. At least Said Benrahma made his first appearance as a sub, coming on for the last 20 mins. We did get another striker earlier this week on a one-year loan, Saman Ghoddos from Amiens SC.

Premier Leagues fixtures announced

First 5 games: Arsenal (H), Crystal Palace (A), Aston Villa (A), Brighton (H), Wolves (A). So that’s 15 points in the bag and only another 25 to get over the following 33 games to ensure survival.
