Our excellent run continues as we almost beat Spurs at home.

An emotional game with Eriksen playing against his old team. We had 3 players missing through injury/illness but their replacements did very well. We were far the best team in the first half with a Toney header (OK, it was probably a shoulder) hitting the bar. Goalless at half-time and as expected Spurs were more of a threat in the second half, with much more possession and we were doing a lot of defending in our own box. Yet, Jansson had a header cleared off the line by Kane and Toney headed against the post late on (although Kane did have a bicycle kick that just went past the post). Although the game finished 0-0, we won on corners (12 vs 8), shots (15 vs 9) and we had two shots on target and Spurs had ... none! We have now reached that magical figure of 40 points.
