We beat Everton 1-0 ... just!
Phew! Another win and 3 points. On a bitterly cold afternoon at Brentford Community Stadium the only goal came from a very cooly taken Toney penalty in the 24th minute after Onyeka was kicked in the face. They had a great opportunity to equalise a minute later if it wasn't for a great save from Fernandez. We played OK in the first half but in the second half sat back and although we defended well we continually gave the ball back to Everton. They really should have equalised and a better team would have punished us although we did have another chance in the dying minutes. Fernandez made another good save in the second half. Next game is away to Spurs on Thursday. If we don’t start showing the the form we had at the start of the season then we will get beaten quite easily.
