We deserved a draw!
Liverpool at Anfield: I was expecting a defeat but the way Liverpool nearly threw it away against Spurs then we might have a chance. Liverpool started as they did against Spurs and we couldn’t keep the ball so it was inevitable they would score, and they did in the 13th minute. For the next 20 minutes or so they probably could have got another couple. Then the last 15 minutes of the first half we started to believe in ourself. Mbeumo had a goal disallowed for a marginal offside and we had several free-kicks outside their box and some corners but made nothing of them. We went in 1-0 down but in the second half we were the better team. Liverpool did have a few chances but again we made nothing of our many free-kicks and corners so never really bothered their keeper. We ended up losing 1-0 but I think a draw would have been a fairer result.
