We don’t concentrate that much and lose 2-0 away to Brighton
Despite many players still out, I was hoping we would bounce back from our Carabao Cup exit by getting our own back at Brighton who beat us with a last minute goal at Brentford Community Stadium earlier in the season. Things were pretty even until some defensive sloppiness allowed them a goal in the 34th minute and ex-Bees’ Maupay getting their second in the 42nd minute. In the second half we had three really good opportunities to score but their keeper made two very good saves from Baptiste and Pinnock , then a Pinnock header was cleared off the line. Next game at home to Manchester City in only a few days. Even a draw would be miracle.
