We dump Premier League Southampton out of the Carabao Cup

After the disappointment of losing in the league on Saturday we go to Premier League Southampton and beat them 2-0 in the 2nd Round of the Carabao Cup . We were playing a much weakened team (and we didn’t even half a goalie on the subs bench) and they played 10 of the 11 who started their first Premier League fixture at the weekend. Both our goals came in the first half from Norgaard (40th minute) and Dasilva (45+1 minute), although they had two great changes to score. We defended well in the second half to run out worthy winners.
In the 3rd Round we are drawn away to West Brom, another local game I could have gone to - grrrr.
