We only lose 2-0 away to Spurs; it could have been worse
A lacklustre display with some sporadic moments in the second half once our subs had been used. We started off the game similar to how we finished the game against Everton on Sunday. Spurs had a number of opportunities to score with our keeper making a few good saves and it was an unlucky Canos own goal in the 12th minute that gave Spurs the lead. We held on until half time but they scored their second with an excellent breakaway in the 65th minute. We had a few moments of pressure after that but most were half chances. Mbeumo had another poor game and probably should be rested for the next match. I thought Goode played well. Onyeka was pretty awful in the first half and it was no surprise he was the first to be substituted in the second half. I think there will be a few changes for the next game away to Leeds on Sunday. I would gladly settled for a point.
