We should have taken all 3 points at home to Villa

This was an opportunity to get our revenge after the 4-0 drubbing they gave us at Villa Park last October and to stop the rot after three consecutive defeats. The first half was pretty even with both sides having chances to score but in the second half we had loads of opportunities to at least go 3-0 up, with the best one falling for Schade who missed an open goal! We eventually got the goal in the 65th minute when Toney sneaked in at the far post to score from a Mbeumo cross. For the last 15 minutes Villa threw everything at us and eventually they got the equaliser in the 87th minute. Almost immediately we go down the other end for Wissa to ‘score’ only for it to be ruled out by VAR for offside. The game ended 1-1.
