We smash Spurs 3-1 at their place!

Second game without Toney who has just started his 8-month ban for betting offences. Despite going behind in the 8th minute to a great Kane strike (we should have cleared the ball before that and it was an unnecessary free kick to give away) we hung in there for the rest of the first half. We weren’t playing well, gave the ball away, lost the 50:50s and they had at least a couple more chances to extend their lead. In the second half everything changed. Frank had taken off Onyeka and replaced him with Damsgaard. Spurs were poor but we were great. We equalised in the 50th minute with a good run and clever shot from Mbeumo. In the 62nd minute we went ahead with a brilliant through ball from Hickey and again Mbeumo finished it off with a precise shot. A mistake by Skipp outside his penalty area saw Mbeumo slip it to Wissa who made it 3-1. Spurs tried to come back at us but two excellent saves from Raya (who might even be the Spurs keeper next season) kept them out.
