Will we now slide towards relegation as we lose at home to League 2 Gillingham in the Carabao Cup?

Beaten on pens (1-1 at FT) by Gillingham who are 22nd in League 2. Toney opens the scoring in the 3rd minute and despite us fielding a strong team and having 80% possession and 16 shots they equalise with their only shot of the whole game in the 75th minute. We then lose on pens 5-6. They only way we can redeem ourselves is by beating Man City on Saturday (fat chance of that happening).
