I was hoping we might get a draw but deep inside I knew we would lose. They got a goal in each half, the first from a very good breakaway attack from our corner and the the second after we lost the ball in our own half. They could/should have got a couple more but I think we deserved one goal, and in the second half Collins brought out a good save from their keeper. The positives were that we didn't defend with 10-men behind the ball as we have done in the past, the back 4 played quite well and Flekken in goal didn't make any mistakes and made a few good saves. The negatives were our midfield that Liverpool played through time and time again, and Mbeumo had a poor game. When he had the ball in an attacking area he didn't play a through ball when he had the chance and then the potential goal threat had gone.
