Hammered and the Championship here we come.

Another must win game away to West Ham Utd as today Everton had their 10 point deduction cut to 6 points. West Ham were keen to come back after their mauling 0-6 by Arsenal in their last home game. The game was over after only 7 minutes because by that time they were 2-0 up. Collins was dropped after his recent poor performances but tonight Ajer was even worse. His failure to mark Bowen (or be within three yards of him) lead to him scoring twice. We then came back into it and played some good football down the right side. In the 13th minute a Toney pass found Lewis-Potter who played in Maupay to score. We then had a few half chances and with more conviction possibly could have equalised. We had a good shout for a pen when Reguilon was bundled over but the ref wasn't interested (it would have been a foul anywhere outside the penalty area). Like Ajer, Reguilon had a poor game as did the whole defence. Bowen got his hat trick in the 63rd minute with Ajer again deciding not to mark him. Six minutes later a great strike made it 4-1. Wissa pulled one back in the 82nd minute and the game finished 4-2. It looks like next season I will be watching them play West Brom and B'ham City in the Championship.
