How the hell did we win this?

Final result Burnley 3 Brentford 4, but we were 0-3 up after 34 minutes and they had the ball in the net 5 times. A Damsgaard header from a corner after 9 minutes opened the scoring, a great through ball from Damsgaard to Thiago who slotted it home for our second in the 25th minute, and then a long throw by Kayode that was flicked on by van den Berg was cleared off the line and it fell to Schade who smashed it home for our third. Then things started to go wrong. In the third minute of added on time in the first half a hopefull ball was crossed into our 6-yard box and for some inexplicable reason Kayode deflected it into the net for an og and the first half ended 1-3. In the second half our defence was non-existent and we played very poorly. In the 47th minute Burnley got it back to 2-3 with a goalbound shot being deflected into the net by ... Kayode. Was a Burnley comeback on the cards? Yes it was as they got the equaliser in the 60th minute. It seemed inevitable that Burnley would now go on to win the game and they got a fourth goal in the 78th minute. After a VAR check a Burnley player's shoulder was offside in the build up and the goal was disallowed. With the game going into a prolonged amount of additional time, in the 90+3 minute from probably our only decent move of the second half, Henry crossed for Damsgaard to get his second and we went 3-4 up. The excitement wasn't over as in the 90+8 minute they levelled it up at 4-4, but after many minutes of VAR deliberation the goal was wiped out for an accidental handball. We got the 3 points and although both VAR decisions were correct they were very marginal. Let's hope we play better in our next match away to Bournemouth.
