We are beaten 0-1 at home by Arsenal in the 3rd Round of the EFL Cup. A mis-timed back pass by Zanka sees Arsenal score the only goal of the game in the 8th minute. They were all over us in the first half but Wissa had one chance that he put wide. The second half was very different with us having more possession and goal scoring opportunities with Ramsdale making excellent saves from Wissa and Onyeka, and Ghoddos and Lewis-Potter having shots cleared off the line.
With Toney suspended until mid-Jan, Henry out for probably the rest of the season, and Schade having adductor surgery means we will really have to dig deep not to get dragged into a relegation battle. We must win on Sunday against probably my most hated team - Forest.
