Our first pre-season friendly sees us have an easy victory away to League 2 AFC Wimbledon. We field about half a side of first-team regulars. We go a goal down with a good header in the 2nd minute, but then new boy Igor Thiago gets two and Wissa a third from the penalty spot after he had been brought down. We go in at half-time 1-3 up. Then a mistake by their defeence sees Schade get our fourth, then Mbeumo gets the fifth. They get a goal late on with another good header. The second half sees us bring on a substitute ex-Southampton and Scotland player Stuart Armstrong, who we could be signing.
