Out of the FA Cup, losing to the Hammers on pens

We fielded a strong side and started brighlty but went behind to a Bowen goal. Thiago equalised (although he didn't know much about it as it came off his chest from a header by Collins). Bowen restored the Hammers' lead, and despite a strong shout for a pen for a foul on Schade we went in at half-time 2-1 down. In the second half Thiago equalised from the spot after a foul on Kayode and both sides had good chances to win the game in normal time. It was even-stevens for the 30 mins of extra time, so it all came down to penalties. West Ham were faultless, but Ouattara decided that the Bees should concentrate on the league with an absolutely awful Panenka attempt. A dink straight down the middle, and Areola didn't have to move and it was a simple catch for him (think La Fee of Brighton's Panenka against us).
