We showed defensive grit in the 0-0 draw with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Not a great performance but at least we came away with a point. The Cherries had several good chances to score in the first half but failed to take them. In the second half Tavernier hit the post twice and Evanlison had a goal ruled out for offside, but we held firm to keep our seventh clean sheet of the season. Our best chance was a header by van den Berg that was well saved by their keeper. The Cherries had one final chance in stoppage-time. Tavernier was involved again as he jinked down the byline before playing a pass into Kroupi, whose first-time shot looked destined for goal, before deflecting off fellow substitute Ünal and wide.
