We lose, but who cares as we stay in the PL!

Although 10 points ahead of 3rd from bottom Luton with 4 games to play, we really needed at least a point away to Everton to guarantee safety. That was until 5 pm when Wolves had beaten Luton and our PL survival was certain. I almost went to the Wolves game to cheer them on to a victory, then I remembered that the last time I went to Molineux the away team won, so I didn't go in case I jinxed it. Surely Everton must have been tired after their midweek victory in the Merseyside derby, but it didn't seem that way. Toney was back for us but apart from one clear effort early in the second half that Pickford saved, he was anonymous and probably knocked £10m off his transfer fee. I'm unsure why the gaffer went 4-3-3 as we would have been better getting the full backs overlapping. The first half was about even and ended 0-0. Both sides had half-chances and the prominent feature was the blocks made by both sets of defenders. We also tried to play crosses into their box which seemed pointless as Toney is our only tall attacker and they have two very good centre backs (including one ex-Bee). After Toney's chance in the second half they hit the bar then in the 60th minute they scored the only and winning goal. Later on they hit the bar again and in time added on Schade had a chance to equalise.
