Another pointless visit to North London

KA named a strong team but I had a gut feeling that this was the game Spurs' home form would improve, and I'm sure TF was desperate to beat his old club. On the day, Spurs really didn't have much to beat as we were a bit of a damp squib. In the first 20 minutes they had numerous half chances but in the 23rd minute Thiago brought out a good save from Vicario. Then two minutes later Simons outpaced van den Berg and crossed to Richarlison to score with Collins nowhere to be seen. After Kelleher made a good save from a header, Simons went through to score a very good solo goal in the 42nd minute. In the second half Spurs had loads of excellent chances to probably get another three goals (and they also had a goal disallowed for offside), but Kelleher saved us on numerous occasions. We offered nothing in the second half and it was only in the 88th minute that Thiago shot into the side netting. We were lucky to get away with just a 2-0 defeat. As we slowly drop down the league I am starting to look at the results of the teams below us. If we do lose as long as they do the same, then that may be enough to keep us up at the end of the season. Only one picture as we did not do enought to warrant two.
