First pre-season friendly is a draw. Nunes injured - again! Is Wissa on the way out?

Pre-season training in sunny Portugal. Igor Thiago scores as Keith Andrews' first game in charge of Brentford ends in a 1-1 pre-season friendly draw against Primeira Liga side Gil Vicente (a strategic partner of the club) at Estádio Cidade de Barcelos. Kelleher, Henderson and Milambo feature in a Bees shirt for the first time and Hickey plays in first-team fixture after 21-month absence but Gustavo Nunes forced off through injury. Nunes missed about 99.9% of last season being injured. They took the lead in the 10th minute when van den Berg got dispossessed midway in our own half (at least it wasn't a PL game) and they scored with a great strike. We equalised through Thiago with a tap in, 8 minures later. The game finished 1-1. No Wissa, probably on his way up the motorway to become a Toon.
