Through to the 3rd Round of the Carabao Cup!

Goals from Carvalho and Thiago either side of half-time secured a 0-2 win for the Bees away to Bournemouth, sending us through to round three of the Carabao Cup. It was another good defensive performance and we kept our second clean sheet in as many games. Keith Andrews made nine changes for the trip to Vitality Stadium; van den Berg and Schade were the only players who kept their place from the win over Aston Villa on Saturday. Hickey was also in the starting XI, as he made his first competitive start since October 2023 due to injury, and he has also been recalled to the Scotland squad.
