We thrash the scum known as QPR at their place in a pre-season friendly

For those of you who don't know, QPR tried to take over Brentford in 1967. This would have led to QPR moving to Griffin Park and Brentford would then no longer exist. Since then they have been our biggest rivals. The only goal of the game came in the second minute through a glancing header in the 6-yard box by newly-appointed Club Captain Collins from a cross by Kayode. The game was more notable for the absence of van den Berg, Henderson , Pinnock and Nunes (both probably injured again), Schade and of course Wissa.
We pay tribute to ex-Bee Mark Lazarus who passed away on 29th July ages 86 years. Mark also had three stints as a player with QPR and was one of only a few English Jewish professional footballers.
