Who would have believed that we would take the lead against Man City, but that's what happened in the 21st minute. A goal kick by Flekken saw the ball go over Toney's head for Maupay to run on to and slot it past their keeper. Up to then, it was all City with loads of possession and Flekken having his best game for the Bees making numerous outstanding saves to keep us in the game. Then we did what we have done on numerous occasions, give a goal away in first half added-on time. A weak header by Pinnock gifts them the equaliser. In the second half it was all City but poor defensive marking from a cross sees them take the lead and later add a third. Norgaard had a good attempt blocked when we were 1-2 down. We are now sliding into the relegation doo-doo and on Saturday we are away to in-form Wolves for the fourth time this season. I will be there and hopefully we can get at least a point.
